NCAA Soccer Rules and College Soccer Environment

One of the keen differences between the Laws of the Game and the NCAA Soccer Rules is the NCAA’s position of zero tolerance for profane and obscene language. “Using profane language in an incidental manner” is a mandatory caution. Abusive, threatening, hostile or obscene language is an ejection offense. As a clinician, every year I discuss this important rules difference and make it a point that referees correctly and courageously enforce the NCAA Soccer Rules in this area.

2017 Chapter and Sportsmanship Awards

Our chapter is asking our members to once again take five minutes from their busy lives to vote for referee and coach sportsmanship awards. The award recipients will be honored by our chapter at our dinner on Monday night, November 13. We ask that you download, complete the ballot and send your responses to Randy Vogt. Rockland/Westchester Chapter Fitness Test

Jack Schiavone from the Rockland/Westchester ISOA told us his chapter will administer the NISOA fitness test at Blind Brook High School in Rye Neck, New York on August 5, 2017 at 8:30am. NY Metro ISOA members should contact Jack directly if they are interested in taking the test on that date.
