Long time NY Metro ISOA member Randy Vogt was recognized for officiating his 10,000th game.
News12 Long Island did a very nice report and interview with Randy.
Congratulations on this unique milestone!
Jack Schiavone from the Rockland/Westchester ISOA told us his chapter will administer the NISOA fitness test at Blind Brook High School in Rye Neck, New York on August 5, 2017 at 8:30am. NY Metro ISOA members should contact Jack directly if they are interested in taking the test on that date.
Our friends at Eastern New York Soccer Association have partnered with a local Official Sports International distributor to provide genuine OSI uniforms at a significant discount. The discount has been extended to NISOA uniforms as well. Go to Eastern New York’s online storefront and place your order.
The Executive Board and members of the NY Metro ISOA Chapter extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Ray Wolfe who passed away on July 11, 2017. Ray was a long time member of the chapter as well being involved with all aspects of soccer in eastern New York State and the metropolitan area. His infectious smile, selflessness and generosity will be greatly missed. Read the rest of this entry »
Due to popular demand, we have restored the ability to receive a certification of your fitness test status via email. As the new test is pass/fail, we are only maintaining pass/fail data on the web site.
Please be aware that our chapter does not maintain a list of when nearby chapters are administering their chapter fitness tests. If you can not take a scheduled fitness test with the NY Metro chapter, it’s your responsibility to contact other chapters. Use the chapter locator on the NISOA web site to get contact information for your use.

I was especially pleased with the obvious commitment by the members to physically prepare and train for the new test. The results were overwhelmingly positive for a test which is more challenging (in my opinion) than our prior NISOA fitness test. Great job by everyone who prepared and took this test seriously.
