2009 NISOA Training Camp

We received this message from NISOA President, Joe Miller.

NISOA will conduct its Annual Referee Training Camp in Elizabethtown, PA on July 12-16, 2009.

This year NISOA, through a grant from the NCAA, is providing full scholarships of $500 to females and minorities.

NISOA also offers $300 scholarships to all others who apply before May 1, 2009.

Updated June 16, 2009 - The camp is full. NISOA is no longer accepting applications.

2009 Mandatory Annual Rules Clinic

The meeting will start at 9:00 AM in the fieldhouse (campus map in pdf format) at New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. The NISOA Fitness Test will not be held at this clinic. Please note this is a new site for us this year.

As always, we welcome guests and other NISOA members to our annual meeting. Please sign up after June 1 so we can properly plan for the event.

The chapter is grateful to Clyde M. Doughty, Jr., Athletic Director at New York Tech for making their facilities available to us and supporting our chapter.

Regional clinic hosted by ISOAB at Rider University, Science Hall, Room #102 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Start time and duration is subject to change. The clinic is mandatory for officials desiring ISOAB assignments. This clinic is not an acceptable substitute for the chapter's annual rules interpretation meeting. The duration of the clinic is approximate.

2008 New York State ISOA Clinic

The New York State ISOA is presenting their spring soccer officiating clinic at Cortland State University on April 27, 2008. Starting time and duration of the clinic is yet to be determined. The clinic will consist of classroom work as well as field work (with assessors available) at the scrimmages scheduled for that day. This clinic is open to new and veteran NISOA members.

If you are a New York Metro ISOA member interested in attending, contact the NY Metro ISOA Executive Board so we can coordinate with NY State ISOA. Other interested individuals should contact their local NISOA chapter contact for information. This clinic costs $30 per person which includes lunch and a shirt.

This clinic is not an acceptable substitute for the NY Metro ISOA annual mandatory rules interpretation meeting for NY Metro ISOA members.
