Arnold Klein selected as the 2007 NISOA Region 2 Referee of the Year

Congratulations to Arnold Klein of Atlantic Beach, NY who was selected as the 2007 NISOA Region 2 Referee of the Year. Arnold KleinThis prestigious award is given to a NISOA referee in Region 2 (which consists of all NISOA chapters in New York State) who demonstrates professionalism on and off the field, shows fairness and a high degree of integrity is willing to help other officials to succeed.

Arnold joined the NY Metro chapter in 1989 after a very successful officiating career in his native Czechoslovakia. He attained USSF National Referee status that year officiating youth and professional championship matches as well as international matches here in the United States. He has officiated over 25 NCAA and NJCAA playoff games during his impressive career. Arnold is truly a positive role model and more than worthy of this recognition. His work on and off the field reflects great credit on our chapter. We are proud to have him among us.
