MINUTES OF CHAPTER BUSINESS MEETING
September 12, 2011

Meeting called to order by President John Puglisi at 7:30PM.
Steve Lewin discussed fitness criteria. Officials must get fit to referee; not the other way around.
Lou Minutoli discussed the ECAC matches and concurrent requirements for the conference: timely arrival, professionalism and knowledgeability of NCAA rules.
Joe Danbusky distributed the treasurer's report, a handout on chapter meeting attendance requirements and a handout on the college substitution procedure; an ongoing problem which the handout should help rectify. The latter two handouts were courtesy of Randy Vogt.
Randy Vogt discussed the role of the Ethics committee and its impact on officials' game assignments.
John Puglisi gave a presentation on "Contact Above the Shoulders", replete with video clips. This presentation generated much spirited discussion among members.
