2008 NCAA Soccer Rules Changes

The NCAA Soccer Rules Committee has published the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Soccer rules changes for 2008 and 2009. The changes are generally minor but include:

  • Rules changes will occur on a two year cycle.
  • The diagonal system of control shall be used. Reference to the dual system of control appears to have been deleted.

NISOA usually provides an official interpretation of the rules changes shortly after the Rules Committee completes their work. We will post the NISOA interpretation of the rules changes when it becomes available.
